Btv blackout in Francistown

FRANCISTOWN: Francistown residents are coiled up in frustration following a complete blackout of Btv programmes since last week Wednesday.

The blackout started last Thursday evening, a day after a Btv programme, The Eye broadcast the press conference by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Phandu Sekelemani, in which he berated Zanu PF for not adhering to the SADC electoral processes.

The programme called Voices from Within Zimbabwe also highly critical of Zimbabwe, appears every Wednesday. Unconfirmed reports from Zimbabweans resident in Botswana say that Studio 7, a short-wave radio station manned by exiled Zimbabweans broadcast from the United States, is also suffering the same fate.
