Botswana trains MDC youth- Zim claims

The government of Botswana has recently adopted a firm stance in favour of the establishment of a working democracy in Zimbabwe in accordance with that country's laws and laws of fairness at elections.

 It appears that the government of Zimbabwe is offended by Botswana's position.  Below, Mmegi prints the Botswana government's position on current events, highlighting the need to reference the available SADC organs that would facilitate improved understanding between the governments of Botswana and Zimbabwe.

The office of the Minister for Defence, Justice and Security, wishes to announce that Botswana was invited to an extraordinary meeting of the SADC Inter-State Defence and Security Committee of the Organ Troika in Maputo, Mozambique on November 5, 2008.
At the meeting, the government of Zimbabwe alleged that Botswana is interfering in its internal affairs. The government of Zimbabwe alleged that Botswana has been training the MDC-Tsvangirai (MDC-T) Youth to destabilise Zimbabwe since 2002.
