Botswana ponders fate of stolen SA vehicle

MAUN: The fate of one of the stolen vehicles found in Maun fraudster, Nicky Masheko's possession is hanging in the balance after his incarceration.

The car was smuggled into Botswana from South Africa after a robbery. However, the South African company that owned the car has been liquidated.

Botswana Police officers say they thought the prosecution in the Masheko case would update presiding magistrate Clifford Foroma about the status of the vehicle. "We had hoped that the prosecution would tell the court about the vehicle but that didn't happen.
