Botswana national, Emmanuel Tsebe, is said to have died last year and was buried in a South African prison graveyard. One of the lawyers who represented Tsebe in South Africa said that his client was being held at an immigration detention centre when he fell ill.

He said that they were still fighting for his release from the centre when he passed away last year. He declined to reveal further details, saying the matter was still under police investigation.
