BNFYL takeover group releases line-up

SELEBI-PHIKWE: A group intent on taking over leadership of the Botswana National Front Youth League (BNFYL) has come up with a line-up and manifesto ahead of elections in Thamaga next month.

Malatsi Mokhubami who is eyeing  the publicity secretary slot told Mmegi that a change of guard in the leadership of the youth league is necessary. He said they want to campaign in peace with no nasty exchanges with their rivals. He said that even if they lose the elections, they will remain members of the BNF.

"We must be in a position to support anyone who wins the elections. We should embrace unity in the party and in that way, our partners in the Umbrella project will not lose faith in us," said Mokhubami.He stated that their lobby list is made up of active members of the party.
