BNF won't prioritise constituencies

Officials of the opposition Botswana National Front have indicated that the party will not be prioritising constituencies in the coming General Elections.

"We are a nation-wide organisation and for that reason we cannot say we will concentrate our efforts on specific constituencies over others," said  Moses Bantsi, BNF organising secretary. Bantsi was speaking at a press conference to re-launch the party's Operation Tsosoloso yesterday at the President Hotel in Gaborone.

Moeti Mohwasa, BNF Publicity Secretary indicated that the party's position is that all constituencies should be targeted despite the fact that the ruling Botswana Democratic Party recently indicated it would specifically target constituencies held by the opposition in a bid to win them.
