MAHALAPYE: Botswana National Front remembered Dr Kenneth Koma, the founder of the party by laying a wreath on his tomb, on Saturday morning during the party's special congress.

The party president Duma Boko said visiting the late Koma's tomb bears testimony and commitment in following the political roadmap that he had set for the party. He said to them Dr Koma served as a mentor and a trainer. "We owe it to him to implement the policies that he has left for us and being here confirms that his political ideologies are still alive and should send a strong message to those who tend to get confused along the way," he said.

Boko BNF still stands firm on what the late Dr Koma expected  from them. "We are here to bear witness as this event will be recorded in the history books. Even when whirlwinds blow in the party I fear not for I stand firm to the teachings that Koma imparted on me," he said.He added that the opposition is in the process of attaining power as it has been his wish as well as to implement unity of opposition as he has initiated. He was hopeful that this unity would change the regime come 2014 to ensure that Dr Koma's wishes come to pass. Boko said heroes like Dr Koma could not be honoured with Naledi Ya Botswana award because the award is just meant for bootlickers.
