BNF rejects BAM-BCP cooperation

Botswana National Front (BNF) leader Otsweletse Moupo has said his party will not join the Botswana Congress Party (BCP) and Botswana Alliance Movement (BAM) cooperation train.

Moupo told a press conference this week that he is worried by the confusion over the stand of the BNF on the pact signed by the two parties.

"BNF is not shaken in its position. Let me stress that it is not that we don't want to cooperate," he said. He slammed the way the press has reported the matter and expressed concern that lately the BNF has been receiving flak for being against opposition cooperation.
