BNF expects 200 defectors to join them

Botswana National Front (BNF) will over the weekend receive about 200 new members, including a former Botswana Democratic Party councillor in Mahalapye East, it has been revealed.

In a missive to the media, BNF spokesman Moeti Mohwasa said his party will receive in its ranks people in Dovedale/Mmaphashalala and Mookane wards in the Mahalapye East constituency.

"Most of the new members are former Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) members. Amongst the new members will be the former Mookane councillor, Mosetsanagape Baatweng. Baatweng was a BDP councillor from 1999 until 2009," said Mohwasa.
