BNF executive threatens to sue Boko

The semblance of maturity and calm that has characterised the Botswana National Front (BNF) in the face of squabbles arising from the failure of the Umbrella talks, seems to be wearing thin.Some BNF executive members have threatened to take their party leader, Duma Boko to court, accusing him of running the party like his own property.

A member of the BNF leadership has told Mmegi that the executive committee accuse Boko of sidelining them and arrogating their powers to himself.

Sources close to the BNF say executive committee members, who include vice-president, Isaac Mabiletsa, have threatened to go to court over the BNF leader's decision to reverse the parliamentary coup that saw the Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) leader, Botsalo Ntuane toppled from the leader of opposition post last month.
