BLLAWU At War With Itself

FRANCISTOWN: A war of attrition has developed between the Central Executive Committee (CEC) of Botswana Land Boards and Local Authorities Workers Union (BLLAWU) on one hand and some members of Francistown branch executive committee on the other.

This was after the CEC took over control of the Francistown branch executive committee after six members resigned.

According to the BLLAWU president Pelotshweu Baeng, and secretary general Moshe Noga, only the chairperson Michael Tlhalerwa and publicity secretary Reuben Moeti were left. Noga explained that the two members could not purport to be the committee because they did not constitute a quorum.
