BDP Youth Committee Hit By Deadly Divisions

Unity seems to be running away from BDP youth

Hardly a month after being voted into office, the Botswana Democratic Party National Youth Executive Committee (BDPNYEC) seems to be heading for divisions.

Already some members are calling secretive meetings behind others’ back, The Monitor has learnt.

The BDPNYEC chairperson, Simon Moabi said he was shocked that some youth committee members decided to hold an urgent meeting without his knowledge. Moabi said he presided over a meeting last Tuesday and there was no need for an urgent meeting two days later on Thursday.
