MOGAPINYANA: Some senior members of the Botswana Democratic Party, among them Ponatshego Kedikilwe, Mompati Merafhe, Kentse Rammidi, Keletso Rakhudu and Gomolemo Motswaledi last Saturday invaded the sleepy Mogapinyana village to prepare their electorate for the by-elections that will be held next weekend.

Almost all speakers spoke the same language in persuading the electorate to remain loyal to the ruling party and to keep the legacy of the late councillor by ensuring that the party retains the ward.

Southern District Chairman Rammidi warned members against committing the mistake that happened in Mmopane where the BCP beat BDP to win the ward in by-elections.
Said Rammidi: "We have tasked the area MP Kedikilwe with the greatest responsibility of marketing the country's resources so do not stress him with an opposition councillor," he advised.
