BDP Executive Secretary quits

The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) Executive Secretary Merapelo Moloise has resigned from her position at Tsholetsa House.

Mmegi has learnt that Moloise has requested to serve a month notice. Information reaching this publication indicated that Moloise and her employer are not in good terms.

According to sources the relationship between Moloise and her employer has deteriorated irretrievably.

“We have received a resignation letter from Moloise today. She was not fired or forced to resign. I am not in a position to discuss the content or details of the resignation letter. All information in that letter is between the employer and the employee. Yes she has asked to serve a notice. She is at work as we speak and I will be briefing party executives about the matter,” BDP secretary general Mpho Balopi said.

Moloise became BDP executive secretary in 2015.
