BDF, Tati River Lodge to build house for underprivileged

FRANCISTOWN: Botswana Defence Force (BDF) and Tati River Lodge (TRL) have teamed up in an effort to help the under-privileged in the city.

On Saturday, the soldiers and the magnificent lodge on the southern side of Francistown held a raffle draw to raise funds for a destitute person who lives in Gerald Estates and was identified by the BDF. The funds will go towards constructing a house.

According to Francistown Air Base Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Gothatamang Best Gopolang, the house is now at roofing level and with the money collected from the raffle, they hope to finish it.
