BCP youth eye deposed BMD constituencies

Following the expulsion of the Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) from the Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC), the Botswana Congress Party Youth League (BCPYL) wants at least three of the 13 vacant constituencies to be given to youth.

The UDC is expected to have dealt with the allocation of the constituencies by yesterday. 

The BCPYL president, Tlhabologo Furniture on Wednesday said that BCPYL submitted a proposal to the UDC National Executive Committee (NEC) pleading for three constituencies to be reserved for youth candidates.
