The first motion calls for the Selebi-Phikwe Town Council (SPTC) to resolve to declare that the "election of Councillor Mbaiwa to the position of the mayor was erroneous, irregular and as a result produced an illegitimate mayor".

The last motion calls on the council to pass a motion-of-no-confidence in the mayor for "illegitimacy and gross incompetence and for him to vacate the mayoral office forthwith".
