BCP deadline for candidates

The Botswana Congress Party (BCP) has given its parliamentary and council candidates up to August to pay the money they owe the party.

Currently the BCP is owed over P1.8 million by its aspirant candidates as the money they are required to pay as a nomination fee.

It emerged at their extra ordinary congress that only six parliamentary candidates out of 55 had paid the required fees.
