Moruakgomo called on President Robert Mugabe to quit without further bloodshed and for the formation of an interim government. He said that the withdrawal of opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai from the presidential election run-off was regrettable, it was clear that the political climate had been deliberately made untenable for a credible, free and fair election.
