FRANCISTOWN: With three political parties expected to slug it out on 23 November, the battle for Francistown-West has started in earnest.

The by-election follows the death of the incumbent Member of Parliament, Tshelang Masisi, on 28 August after a long illness.

Parties contesting for the vacant seat are the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) represented by Ignatius Moswaane, the Botswana Congress Party (BCP) represented by Dr Habaudi Hobona and the Botswana Peoples Party (BPP) represented by Shatiso Tambula.
