Batswana urged to visit Kenya

In the aftermath of the terror attacks at a shopping mall in Kenya's capital, Nairobi, the High Commissioner of Kenya to Botswana, Jean Kimani, has urged Botswana travellers and tourists to visit Kenya as it now safe and back to normal.

At a joint press briefing with Kenya Airways, in Gaborone yesterday, Kimani said Kenya is ready to move forward as everything is back to normal.

She pointed out that security has been stepped up to flush out any threat to her country. "Our security forces are on high alert," she emphasised, adding that Kenya has international support and the best intelligence in the world to make sure that the country is safe.
