TUTUME: The Botswana Alliance Movement (BAM) and the Botswana Congress Party (BCP) held a joint forum last Saturday to discuss their draft manifesto and review progress on the preparation for elections.

Parliamentary and council candidates from across the country filled the Pandagala Junior Secondary School Hall in Tutume to discuss the manifesto titled: 'A Nation At Crossroads: Which Way Now? The draft manifesto has chapters on reclaiming democracy, economy, social programme, national security and international relations. The two parties claim that if they get power, they will repeal the Media Practitioners Act and abolish the alcohol levy.
