ATI ruling deferred yet again

The absence of Extension 2 Magistrate Court judge Joy Brown-Norman has delayed ruling in a kidnapping and assault case involving popular rapper Atlasaone Molemogi, popularly known as ATI to his fans.

The magistrate, who only returned to work yesterday was supposed to hand down ruling on an application for dismissal of case recently filed by Molemogi’s lawyer Kgosiitsile Ngakayaga. Ruling was initially scheduled for August 18 but was deferred to August 27. Yesterday it was postponed to September 3, 2014.

Molemogi and his co-accused, Baboloki Phaga and Godiraone Motswedi are alleged to have kidnapped and electrocuted 29-year-old Nayang Ngwenya following a misunderstanding over gate-takings from a music festival, earlier this year.
