Armed robbers arrested

The CID, Serious Crime Squads have  finally made a breakthrough as five suspects were arrested on Friday.According to a source a well planned arrest that included a couple of gun shots took place between morning and evening at Block 8 and Ledumadumane on Thursday.

The first incident occurred at Block 8 as the Serious Crime Squad was following the trails of suspects who robbed Caltex Filling Station in Mogoditshane the previous night. They then pounced on three suspects who were wearing the same type of clothes that they were wearing when robbing Caltex Filling Station the previous night.It is alleged that the three suspects attempted to resist arrest as they also exchanged fire with the police before they were overpowered. They also surrendered  an undisclosed amount of money, some arms and ammunition were found in their house and their car.
