Another hitch in Bobirwa chieftaincy dispute

BOBONONG: There is no end in sight for the Bobirwa chieftaincy crisis with a new twist in the third round of consultations on Monday.

The senior mediator from Bamangwato Tribal Administration, Mokhutshwane Sekgoma, has already received a letter from some claimants to the Babirwa throne requesting his team from Serowe to recuse themselves from the case alleging conflict of interest as they are Khama descendants.

Claimants to the throne on the other hand want the defendant Mmirwa Malema to first step down from his position for a level playing ground.  This time around Kgosi Sekgoma did not set a date for the judgment but said he will forward the submissions to the relevant authorities.
