AFDA Film Television Performance School has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the South East District Council (SEDC) and officially launched a P500,000 worth scholarship for the district as well as revealed a change of name to Arts Without Limit College (AWLC).

The agreement, which was signed at the AFDA Gaborone campus, is a way of giving back to the community, according to Tsholofelo Ntshingane, the institution’s chief executive officer.

Several members of the famous KTM Choir are from the district and according to Ntshingane, this is proof of abundance of talent in the area. “We need to nurture this talent,” he said.
