SEROWE: Although it is a relatively new concept, We Bechuana: Kwa Re Tswang is currently one of the most anticipated shows coming up in the Independence Day holidays.

According to Phaf Phafana, one of the organisers of the string of events to be held in Serowe, Mahalapye and Palapye, the reception to the concept has been overwhelming.

“We have realised that nowadays the youth and middle-aged don’t celebrate Independence like they used to in the past, so we came up with the We Bechuana concept.  Ever since Batswana heard of it they have been supportive,” he said.
