Storm disrupts Splash at Ntuane�s final rally

Botsalo Ntuane’s last lap rally and music festival was disrupted by a vicious storm. The rally’s biggest attraction, Splash, was forced to use a CD for their performance.

The crowd had waited in anticipation for Dan Tshanda and his band, after a series of performances by local groups earlier. However, just when the band was preparing the sound, aggressive blew in from the west, filled the space with red sand. The people there were forced to run for cover but just when the powerful wind stopped, the rain poured down.

With the instruments soaked in water and the stage in a mess, Tshanda announced that he was forced to use a CD.
