Pride festival attracts large audiences

Pride Festival, which was held in conjunction with other LGBTQI community events in Botswana, including a march for human rights and equality on Saturday at Game City, drew a sizable crowd.

After the formal proceedings which happened in the morning, the LGBTQI community wrapped up the day with a music festival in the evening which was quite a hit.

Different DJs from the community that is also known as the rainbow people kept revellers entertained with endless music of different genres. DJs including DJ Lady Boss, DJ Yun K Shi, DJ Fellow, DJ Maronza, and others who are members of the LGBTQI community, kept the event lively with a variety of music from both domestic and foreign musicians.
