Picnic to promote local talent

Interviewed by Arts & Culture, Uncle Dipoae said the inspiration to host the event came about after he realised that DJs from Kanye do not get much recognition and bookings for mainstream festivals.

As such, he explained that the event would give them a platform to showcase their talent whilst according small-scale businesses an opportunity to sell their products. “Our set goals for the event was to have a mature, fashionable and beautiful company of good people on the day for us to declare the event a success.
