A spectacular evening of fine wine, art, and fashion beckons at The Patio Deli & Café in Gaborone on March 29 as the Art & Vine event makes its debut.

The event will bring together some of Botswana’s most celebrated creatives and entrepreneurs to make an unforgettable experience for art lovers, wine enthusiasts, and fashion aficionados alike. The event’s orgnaniser, Thabo Kgatlwane, told Arts&Culture that Art & Vine is more than just an event but a vision that has been carefully curated and nurtured into existence. “This is something I have dreamed about for a long time. To see it finally coming together with the help of such exceptional partners is truly humbling. Each person involved has brought their unique touch, making this night even more special than I could have imagined,” said Kgatlwane.

Legendary visual artist, Wilson Ngoni will be the main feature of this event. His artworks have graced galleries locally and internationally. His bold, thought-provoking pieces will be on display, providing attendees with an opportunity to immerse themselves in the brilliance of one of the country’s finest artistic minds. Adding the element of fashion will be Sabine Matsheka, founder of Maru BW, whose stunning designs are redefining contemporary African fashion. Guests will have the chance to view and shop her original pieces, adding an element of exclusive fashion retail to the night’s festivities. Meanwhile, beauty lovers are in for a treat as Asali Beauty, a proudly organic cosmetics brand, will also be present, giving guests the opportunity to shop luxurious, natural beauty products and support local entrepreneurship. As they say, no great evening is complete without fine wine and exquisite food, and Art & Vine is bringing only the best to the table courtesy of Lengau Wine Company. Guests will enjoy a selection of premium wines that pair perfectly with the night’s artistic ambiance.
