Orange Monyaka for Palapye

After a huge turn out in Palapye last year, this year’s Orange Monyaka festival will be hosted in the village, on December 20. Five major areas hosted the festival last year, but it was the Palapye event that proved a massive success.

Orange’s sponsorship and events executive Lame Madiba told Showbiz that the decision to host the show in Palapye was in appreciation for the support they received there. The event will be held at the Majestic hotel from 6:00 pm until late.

“We were impressed with the turn out at all the five shows last year, but Palapye was exceptional and for that we felt why not host this year’s edition in Palapye,” Madiba said. The show will see performances by famed South African group Micasa, Busi of popular song, ‘My name is’, and Busisiwa.
