DJ Oneal, now Oneal Africa, was booed off stage by revellers at the annual Clap Your Hands concert in Palapye on December 24, 2015, before one of the angry patrons threw an empty bottle at him whilst on stage.

Born, Zibanani Madumo, the former Big Brother Hotshot housemate suffered a major blow to his ego as patrons seemed not amused by his presence. He was not part of the line-up. We were only informed that he had requested that he greets his fans and we agreed, that is how he got onto the stage,” said a source who preferred anonymity.

But Oneal Africa was quick to shrug off the incident with his own version of what happened. “I was staying at the hotel where the event was taking place as I was visiting my family in Serowe. My friend, Owen Rampha asked me to attend the event with him along with DJ Ski, which I did. I never had any intention of being on stage.”
