From hosting less than a thousand people in the past editions, the 4th edition of the Last Camp Out, a New Year’s Eve crossover music festival, is targeting more, with Stimela hitmaker Ntate Stunna and Dalom Kids as this year’s headliners.

The event will be held at Flamboyant Gardens venue in Thamaga and according to event organiser, Lucky Ranko, this year they are targeting more than a thousand people in a bigger and better venue.

“The event has changed venues over the years due to various challenges but this time around we have found a home,” he said. “Patrons will be safer and there is ample parking space so everyone is going to celebrate 2024 in style. “The Last Camp Out never disappoints.”

He also added that to put more icing on the cake, the event boasts of a stellar line-up which includes Lesotho’s very own Ntate Stunna who has various hits under his name.

“There is also Dalom Kids. We all love their revamped Keneilwe song with Master KG and Nkosazana Daughter. “Charlotte Lyf from Wanitwa Mos Entertainment will also be there so altogether these are great international acts supported by our very own talented local artists,” Ranko highlighted.

Ranko, who is also a DJ, added that they are not only targeting the people of Thamaga but rather have set their eyes on nearby villages like Mmankgodi, Manyana, Kumakwane, Gakgatla, Kubung and Molepolole.

He pointed out that going forward their aim is to see this event grow to the level of Born & Raised and Gaabo Motho music festivals. Ranko however bemoaned the lack of sponsorship as a big challenge to them as event organisers.

“We will keep on trying. Overall we are grateful for the support we have been receiving from our patrons over the years. “The Last Camp Out wouldn’t be where it is today without their support. “Let’s party the year 2023 away and receive the blessings of the New Year in a jovial mood at Flamboyant Gardens,” Ranko further emphasised.

Early bird tickets cost P100 while a standard ticket costs P150.
