My Star contestants need to step up

Anita Tshane bid My Star Best of the Best farewell over the weekend at the Bokaa Community Hall. Many expected the competition to be fierce in the 10th season because it is only open to contestants who had reached top 10 during the previous seasons, but only a few showed maturity.

The show is down to only 18 contestants, after 22-year-old Anita was struck off the show. She received the least votes from both the public and the judges.

Asked what she thinks may had led to her elimination, the season 7 finalist said: “Stage fright was my downfall.
