Inaugural car expo billed for S/Phikwe

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Tomorrow Selebi-Phikwe will host a National Car Expo, which is the first of its kind in the country.

Contrary to the usual spinning, racing and risky games that car competitions embark on, this unique competition would determine the winners according to colour, sound, interior, exhaust mag wheels as well as the uniqueness of the parade that the car will demonstrate. 

The town would be awash with models such as Altezza, BMW, Audi, Toyota Hilux, Honda Fit and RunX among others that have registered for the competition both as clubs and individuals.  Registration is still ongoing for those who wish to participate. The founder, Maiteko Tlhaloso said this is just a charity event through which she plans to assist an economically-challenged family in Botshabelo that she identified through the assistance of the community and social welfare office.
