Gaone�s Kopisa steals Freshly Ground�s thunder

The annual musical event dubbed Mascom Live Sessions kick started on Friday featuring local female sensations and newcomers Gaone Rantlhoiwa and Mpho Sebina. South African act, Freshly Ground headlined the two.

The event, held at BotswanaCraft on Friday, started off on a low key. The event which has branded itself over the past years, did not leave up to expectation in the process pulling an average crowd.

But it was Rantlhoiwa who had the most energy on the stage. Kick starting the performances was Sebina who is relatively new in the market and has only one song under her belt dubbed Love light. She mostly belted out her cover songs from the likes of Kwaito kings Trompies, amongst others.
