Few sparkle in My Star

Except for pockets of brilliance here and there, last week’s My Star edition failed to produce a spark to the frustration of the judges and fans. Few contestants managed to give the show meaning while most were either sibilating or just went flat.

 

Even the best of the competition, the likes of Obakeng, Khumo and Tshegofatso, did not display their usual class. One particular contestant that deserved credit for giving the show zest was Patricia. In fact, the bubbly vocalist gave the audience reason to be with their excited chants of her name.
