One of the country’s leading fashion designers, Aobakwe Molosiwa has a familiar story to tell. He realised that he wanted to ‘make beautiful designs’ when he was still very young but it is apparent that his parents had envisaged a different career path for him.

“After high school I enrolled for pre-med at the University of Botswana, but I quickly realised that medicine was not for me. 

So I decided to have a long chat with my parents and after a long while, I won,” says Molosiwa.
