After huge disappointment at Saturday’s Son of the Soil (SOTS) main event, only a few people turned up for the jazz festival on Sunday at Serokolwane Farms. Most people were already frustrated after paying P250 on Saturday and felt they could not spend another thebe on the annual cultural event.

The Jazz Festival organised by Kalahari Jazz beats started late in the afternoon. Despite the low turnout, the festival commenced as planned.

One of the main acts Mpho Sebina did her best to entertain the few people who were there.  Arriving on stage clad in white shorts and a vest, Mpho Sebina performed a song entitled How Can We Be Lovers.  From there she performed a cover of the late Brenda Fassie’s Too Late For Mama and she hummed towards the end of the song to create an amazing effect.
