Vocalist and actor, Debbie with a T in partnership with The Metrophones gave nothing short of an amazing perfor­mance at Mantlwaneng Theatre, Westwood International School on Thursday.

With her strong stage presence and confi­dence Debbie with T showed lyrical prow­ess wittily mixing age-old tribal concerns with western diction. There are conscious tones, but also a sweet and natural romance to the dishing of her songs.

She opened the show belting out Wish I Was Born A Punk Rockstar and continued to thrill the audience with songs like Broken Heart, which she described as an original composition by a ‘dear’ friend.
