Local rapper Ban T has released his Extended Play (EP) titled Tiddy’s Revenge which has a total of 11 songs.
The artist told the media at a listening session at Tounnel Lounge on Thursday that the offering took almost three years to complete. “This is a music project that I have worked on exactly for two and half years,” Ban T said. “When I say two and half years, I mean from the first song I made until the last song. It was quite an amazing project.” The prominent rapper, whose career spans over eight years, said when composing the project it took him through a turmoil of emotions as it looks back at his younger self. “Tiddy’s Revenge is a project that I really immersed myself in. It is a reflection of my life journey and all that I have been through. I take listeners on a journey of my life, the high and lows so I am really excited to finally let my followers on a journey of my life," Ban T added. As Ban T pointed out that Tiddy's Revenge evoked lots of emotions from him, his feelings can be heard from the EP especially from the first song titled Mom's Prayer. Mom's Prayer is a track about a mother telling her child to hold on and it resonated with everyone in the room.
Ban T said the song was inspired from when his world was crumbling and his mom was there for her through it all. Jennifer, another song in the EP, also was well received by the crowd that attended the listening session as it has a touch of romance. Attendants jammed to it and hit the dance floor. The Naomi hitmaker further said the project confronts his alter ego, a side that has never been seen. Regarding the EP, it features several rappers amongst others the famous media personality William Last KRM, Scar and Veezo View. The EP is now available for streaming on music digital platforms such as Apple Music and Spotify.
