13,000 throng GIMC

An estimated 13,000 music lovers thronged the Gaborone International Music and Culture Week (GIMC) festival at the national stadium on Saturday. Showbiz caught up with the brains behind the event Thapelo ‘Fish’ Pabalinga yesterday who reflected on the event that lasted the whole week.

He said although the Saturday event pulled a large crowd estimated to be around 13,000, he was taken aback by the talented youth who performed at the not so popular shows like choral and theatre.

“I mean I am obviously more than humbled by those who turned up in large numbers on Saturday.
