Some writing markets for May

People always ask me where they can send their work. This month I’m giving you a few places. Part of being a writer is submitting your work. The only way you are going to know if your writing is up to the standard required is to send your work out there.

And no, they are not going to steal your work — the unfounded fear of many newbie writers.  Only seriously dodgy publications and publishers will steal your work, in the end it would put them out of business, so it makes no sense.  Writers talk to each other.

So, it's time to look at a few markets to submit to in the next few months.  I’ve found a romance publisher, a media group looking for children’s writing, a literary magazine, and two markets for fantasy, and sci-fi stories — something for everyone!
