Boxing team ready for Zone VI tourney

The Botswana Boxing Association (BoBA) moved a step closer towards hosting the Zone IV Championships with the launch of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) in Gaborone on Tuesday.

An 11-member team to represent the country was also unveiled at the same ceremony. Former boxer, Lechedzani ‘Master’ Luza has been appointed the team’s coach.

The tournament will take place at Botho University from April 23 to 27, this year with 12 countries from the region expected to take part in the event.
