Ex-Juventus star, Davids eyes Botswana academy

Former Juventus and Holland midfield maestro, Edgar Davids is exploring possible opportunities to open up a soccer academy in Botswana.

Davids was in Botswana this week, together with a delegation from Spain's La Liga, which is expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Botswana Premier League (BPL).

BFA public relations and marketing officer, Tumo Mpatane said Davids was in the country on a fact finding mission.
