Sinohydro backs out of P92m suit against govt

Sinohydro has backed out of a P92 million lawsuit in which the Chinese company was suing government over the termination of a contract to expand the Sir Seretse Khama International Airport (SSKIA).

As a result of the delays, government retrieved P75 million in performance and retentions bonds from Sinohydro, leading to the Chinese company filing a case with the London-based International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
