BOPEU out of salary talks

The executive committee (EXCO) of the Public Service Bargaining Council (PSBC) yesterday met and set the date for the commencement of the council meeting for salary negotiations.

This followed a meeting between the Botswana Federation of Public Sector Unions (BOFEPUSU) and the director of Public Service Management Ruth Maphorisa (DPSM) on October 10, 2016 where the issue of the commencement of the business of the council was discussed especially with the view to conclude the 2015/16 salary negotiations.

The salary negotiations could commence Monday October 17, 2016.
