The probe commission report on the death of former Lesotho army general, Maaparankwe Mahao is expected to be discussed and released this week. Mmegi sources at the Southern African Development Community (SADC) say the commission chaired by Justice Mpaphi Phumaphi of the Francistown High Court will deliver the report this week.

“The Directorate of Organ on Politics, Defence and Security is expected to meet and discuss Phumaphi’s report on January 16,” said the source not revealing where the meeting will take place.

The commission started its investigations last August following Mahao’s alleged assassination in June.
