Stanbic golf tourney on this weekend

Botswana Golf Union (BGU) will over the weekend host one of its premier tournaments, the annual Stanbic Bank Independence Trophy. The tournament takes place at the Gaborone Golf Club on September 20 and 21.

BGU secretary general, Mpho Kelosiwang explained that the men’s section will be divided into three categories being A-Division (handicap 0-9), B-Division (handicap 10-16), C-Division (handicap 17-24).

The women’s section will be divided into two categories being A-Division (0-15) and B-Division being handicap 16-30. He said that the tournament is one of the biggest events in the BGU calendar.
